While DNA swab kits do not expire, the swabs we provided should be used as soon as possible for the best results.. However, you return the sample for testing within 90 days. If you wait longer than 90 days, your case will be assigned an “inactive” status. You can reactivate your case one time for an additional 90 days (Additional fees may apply). We are not able to reactivate any case that is over 12 months old.
